A dwarfing evergreen blueberry to 3 ft. height. Bright pink flowers in spring, followed by delicious fruit ripening over a 2 month period in midsummer. Sunshine Blue Blueberry is a low chill southern variety. Tolerates higher soil pH better than other varieties, yet well adapted to the Pacific Northwest.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full to 3/4 sun, balanced and regular moisture (especially in summer), acid soils - add peat moss or sulfur to increase acidity as needed, although the Southern Highbush will do better with less acid soils. Reduce grass competition in root zone by applying 2-3" layer of wood chips. Apply aged manure under chips yearly. Cut out dead wood as needed; some will dormant prune out branches older than 3 years to spur development of new, vigorous growth.
