Large yellow/green fruit is very juicy and seedless. Skin turns yellow when ripe, mostly in winter and spring, although some can continue to ripen throughout much of the year. Bearss Lime Citrus has needs less heat than most citrus to ripen, but is only hardy to 28 F, so it needs to be grown indoors most of the year.

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Blooms mostly in fall, but also sporadically all year long. Must be hand-pollinated if kept indoors.
RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun, balanced moisture, needs regular citrus fertilizer. Benefits indoor from being placed on large saucer or tray filled with marbles or pebbles, and having water applied to tray to form a moisture plume. Happiest in temperatures of 60F or above. Prune as needed for shape.
