This is the most commonly grown hardy eucalyptus. A fast-growing evergreen with a sweet sap and is suitable for tapping to make a syrup or sweet beverage. Blue Ice Cider Gum is a blue leafed form, can be cut back annually to a shrub like form and the foliage is used in floral arrangements.

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Mid-late spring flowers are yellow-green and insignificant.
RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun, balanced moisture to start, widely adapted to soil types but requires sharp drainage. Drought tolerant when established.
DISEASE RESISTANCE: Very good, especially in lean soils.
SIZE AT MATURITY: Quickly to 100' x 25'. Spreading upper branches and dense crown.
