Late blooming variety, big sweet fruit with a firm texture and good flavor. From Northern Japan where it is known as Chitose No. 11. Mature height is around 4-5 feet. Blue Pagoda™ Honeyberry pollinates with Blue Velvet, Kamchatka, Blue Moon, Blue Sea, or Blue Pacific.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun in cool summer areas, to full shade in warmer regions. Balanced moisture. Eliminate grass competition in root zone, especially in early years. Top dress with compost yearly. Tolerates a wider range of ph than blueberry, but requires 5-10% organic matter to thrive. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Spur bearer.
