Vigorous and will get large, 40-50 ft. if given time and space. Self fruitful. Carmelo English Walnuts have large, flavorful nutmeats that have a light color.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun, balanced moisture, mildly acidic soils and good drainage. Sites with deep (three feet or more), well-drained loamy soils with pH values between 6.0 and 8.0 are best. Intolerant of flooding. Corrective pruning to maintain central leader as necessary. Usually 4-5 large scaffolding branches allowed.
