Manregian x Russian. Thin shell, excellent flavor, plump, light colored kernels. Fast growing, large tree. These are cold hardy seedlings of J. regia which can be grown throughout much of North America. The Cascade parent tree has medium large nuts with up to 56% kernel.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun, balanced moisture, mildly acidic soils and good drainage. Sites with deep (three feet or more), well-drained loamy soils with pH values between 6.0 and 8.0 are best. Intolerant of flooding. Corrective pruning to maintain central leader as necessary. Usually 4-5 large scaffolding branches allowed.
