(Japanese x European) Parent tree produces exceptionally big nuts of good quality; approx. 14-18 nuts per pound. Very productive. Early ripening, easy peeling, popular orchard variety. Does best in warm climate regions. Seedlings start producing 8-10 years after planting. Drops nuts around the time of the first frost.
