Plum-apricot cross with wonderful flavor. Dapple Dandy Pluot is a red fleshed freestone fruit with yellow/green skin with red dapples. Pollinates with Japanese plums.

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Very early to early-midseason. Pollinates with Japanese plums or other pluots. Satsuma Japanese plum is the most suitable pollinator for pluot.
RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun with balanced moisture. Reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Very upright grower – use wooden clothesline clips to spread crotches as needed. May also need to lightly weight branches to encourage spread. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Spur bearer with fruit throughout the tree.

DISEASE RESISTANCE: Can be subject to aphids and fungal infections. Not much information on this specific variety.
