Late ripening northern highbush variety and a good keeper, effectively extending the fresh blueberry season into the fall. Elliot Blueberry has very heavy yield of medium sized fruits. Late blooming, resistant to mummy berry and cracking. Dark red leaves in fall. Ripens too late in cooler areas some years.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full to 3/4 sun, balanced and regular moisture (especially in summer), acid soils - add peat moss or sulfur to increase acidity as needed. Reduce grass competition in root zone by applying 2-3" layer of wood chips. Apply aged manure under chips yearly. Thin internal structure to increase airflow and plant health. Cut out dead wood as needed.
