This evergreen southern highbush blueberry produces the largest fruit of any southern variety. Mildly sweet flavor. Round, spreading form to about 5 feet. The low chill requirements of Emerald Blueberry makes it suitable to warm regions from Zone 8-10.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full to 3/4 sun, balanced and regular moisture (especially in summer), acid soils - add peat moss or sulfur to increase acidity as needed, although the Southern Highbush will do better with less acid soils. Reduce grass competition in root zone by applying 2-3" layer of wood chips. Apply aged manure under chips yearly. Cut out dead wood as needed; some will dormant prune out branches older than 3 years to spur development of new, vigorous growth.
