RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun, balanced moisture, reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Thin fruit ruthlessly to 7-8" between each piece, especially during the tree's early years. Ripens very late. Fruit does not ripen off tree, so check fruit regularly to see if the stem releases from the tree easily when you lift it, and also check to see if seeds have turned brown.
