This rootstock will create a dwarf tree, typically 8-12 ft. Can be kept even smaller with summer pruning. The advantage of M26 dwarfing rootstocks is in ease of harvest and quick bearing. Small trees can be planted much closer together, allowing for more trees and greater variety in a small area. Best on well-drained soil.
