Very large nuts, good flavor and peeling quality. Marrisard Chestnuts are especially good in hot climates, where they produce nuts larger than Colossal. Pollen sterile, Mid-season ripening. Disease resistant to blight and phytopthora. Seedlings start producing 4-8yrs after planting. Grafted/Layered trees start producing 3-5yrs after planting.
