A standard pie cherry with medium to large red fruit. Very productive. Originated in Montmorency, France about 400 years ago. Montmorency Pie Cherry is still considered one of the best pie varieties. Self-fertile. Zone 4-9.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full to 1/2 sun, balanced moisture. Reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Spur bearer. Cut new growth by half each year to keep tree compact. Fruits on 1 year old + wood.
