Hican (Hickory x Pecan)
Burton Hican (Hickory x Pecan) -
McAllister Hican (Hickory x Pecan) - Pecan crossed with a Shellbark hickory. Huge nut, larger than most pecans, with excellent hickory flavor. Indiana origin. Ripens in cool climates with a warm summer. Thick, hard shells require a pair of vice grips or the MasterCracker to crack the nuts. Hardy to Zone 5.
