A June bearer with exceptionally large fruit. Tillamook strawberries have the unusual trait of maintaining very large fruit size during their 2nd and 3rd picking in June.

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Self-fertile.
RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Soak roots in tepid water for several hours before planting. Full to ˝ sun, balanced moisture, prefers slightly acidic soils. Eliminate grass competition in root zone. A mulch of pine needles can keep berries off soil, improve fruit quality and keep shallow roots moist. Top dress with compost yearly; fertilize in August to help plant set many buds for following years’ yield. Some growers will prune off 1st year flowers to allow plants to develop stronger root systems.
