This tree has an upright pyramidal form 25 x 70 ft. Small, good tasting nuts, up to eight/cluster. Very winter hardy & disease resistant. Drought tolerant once established. Turkish Tree Hazels have beautiful wood; attractive, corky bark. Makes a good windbreak tree.

POLLINATION/BLOOM TIME: Blooms March; small female catkins found within dangling male catkins that develop all winter.
RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun, balanced moisture, mildly acidic soils and good drainage. Can be trained as standard with single stem, or allowed to grow as bush and sucker freely.
DISEASE RESISTANCE: Excellent. Disease resistant and makes a good street tree if nut litter is not a problem.
