Small, sweet blue grapes in compact clusters. Used for eating, juice and jelly. Incredibly hardy, to -50°F. Very early ripening. Valiant Grape makes a tasty dark red juice. Selected in South Dakota.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun, balanced moisture, reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Needs regular pruning to encourage fruit and control vine size - also to repair regular winter damage. Dormant prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Spur bearer.

DISEASE RESISTANCE: High. May be susceptible to mildew or other fungal disease if conditions are wet or plants are not pruned. Sunshine and airflow prevent disease.
