Sweet and juicy orange flesh with a very small pit. The skin is a tart red skin and easy to peel. Delicious for fresh eating or jam. Mid to late summer ripening. Waneta Plum is quick to bear and is high yielding. A cross between Japanese plum and American plum. Originated in South Dakota. Zone 3-8.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full to 3/4 sun with balanced moisture. Reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest, however trees are very healthy and have good form without pruning. Spur bearer with fruit throughout the tree. Some fruit thinning increases fruit quality and taste. Mid-late season ripening.
