An old Wisconsin variety with gigantic fruit. Great pie apple - only requiring 1 or 2 fruits per pie. Wolf River Apple is resistant to scab, mildew, and cedar rust. Zone 2-9.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full sun, balanced moisture, reduce grass competition in root zone. Top dress with compost yearly. Summer prune for airflow and ease of harvest. Spur and partial tip bearer. Stake trunk for first few years. Thin apples carefully first few seasons to strengthen branches and discourage biennial bearing pattern. Mid season ripening.
