Large white flowers in June which last a month, followed by large strawberry-like pinkish red, edible yet bland fruit that will attract birds. Dark green long leaves turn scarlet to purple leaves in autumn. Chinese Oriental Dogwoods have year-round interest. Horizontal branching tree with a rounded crown and pyramidal growth to 25-30 ft. Resistant to dogwood anthracnose and borers. Hardy to -20°F.

RECOMMENDED GROWING AND CARE:
Full to 1/2 sun in hotter areas, regular balanced moisture, mildly acidic soils and good drainage and lots of organic matter. Benefits from 2-4" of mulch to drip line to conserve root moisture. Prune for shape during dry weather.
DISEASE RESISTANCE: Good. Resistance to anthracnose and dogwood borer. Prefers good air movement to keep leaves healthy.
