Very long bloom period that begins in late winter and continues February-April. Tubular flower are vividly rosy-pink and up to 6 inches long. Loved by hummingbirds and bees. Produces blue-black berries that are edible but not the tastiest however they will be enjoyed by the birds. Sun to part shade. Claremont Pink Flowering Currant is another selection of the Pacific Northwest native Ribes sanguineum.
