Large late ripening red fruits in abundance, excellent fruit quality. Of Dutch origin, Rovada Red Currant is the main commercially grown European variety. Well suited in the garden as an edible ornamental. Resistant to leaf spot, mildew and white pine blister rust. It blooms late so it's less subject to spring frost damage.
